LADYCOY

PROJECT TYPE Public Intervention
LOCATION Boston

LADYCOY is a collaboration between Vanessa Harden and Leonardo Bonanni. Ladycoy can be found in the alleys and streets of Boston, witnessing the nightly occurrences that surround her. The Ladycoy experiment adopts an approximation of the female form made from wire, cloth, papier-mache and surveillance equipment. Online, she brings you her account of a night on the streets – the boredom, the car horns, and the confused harassment. Ladycoy is at once an urban intervention, experimental platform and performance art.
